Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her writing and design. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born into an creative family. She began working as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female film in the history of box offices. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
