Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. She was not allowed to begin acting in front of her family until she reached adulthood, as they feared the strain it might cause. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, relocated to New York in search of television roles. Perry was able to land small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California for theater roles. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway with her in The Other Place, in 2013. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. Perry was also featured in a role on ABC's political thriller Scandal alongside her father. The actress also portrayed her younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The character was chosen by auditions, even though she had a close connection with it.
