Lindsey Vonn, an American athlete born on the 18th of October 1984, won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics for downhill ski race. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female skiers and men in terms of super scores. She is the best skier ever and the is the most well-known throughout her home country of the United States. Caroline Vonn, also known as Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer that is part of the US Ski Team. There are four overall World Cup victories. She is a well-known athlete in American time. She is among only six women who have been successful at all five World Cup competitions in alpine. All told, she has achieved an impressive 82 World Cup championships. After the World Championships in Sweden this year, one of the top and most experienced American ski racers will be retiring. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several ailments. Her retirement was announced via social media.
