Ina Garten is well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and the budget. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she soon began to lose the interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Her store was extremely successful over the course of 18 years until she decided to sell it. Then she began writing the first book. Other cookbooks followed, as were magazine articles. Another hit is the Food Network Television show. The company also offers a wide range of product from cooking ingredients as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. She is known for her easy approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment.
